Jipup runs AI agents that clean, enrich and keep your HubSpot CRM up to date: duplicate detection and merging, contact and company enrichment, job change tracking. This guide covers the whole setup — from the first click to uninstalling — in about five minutes.
Enzo, Jipup's co-founder, connects a HubSpot portal and explains each permission HubSpot asks for.
Sign up on app.jipup.com, confirm your email and name your workspace.
Right after creating your workspace, Jipup asks “Which CRM do you use?”. Pick HubSpot, then click Connect HubSpot.
Skipped that screen? Connect later from Settings → Connections → HubSpot connection → Connect HubSpot, or from the Agents page.
HubSpot opens its own consent screen. Pick the portal to connect, review the permissions (each one is explained below) and approve.
HubSpot lists write permissions alongside read ones. That is expected: the same connection is later used by the agents that update your records, so you never have to reconnect when you turn one on. Connecting alone changes nothing in your CRM.
Back in Jipup, open Resources → CRM audit and click Run the audit. Jipup scores your portal on duplicates, completeness, data quality and freshness, with example records for every issue.
The audit is read-only — nothing is written, deleted or created in HubSpot — and it uses no credits.
In Agents, pick a workflow and configure it:
Every change an agent makes is logged in History, with the value before and after. When an agent needs your decision — a duplicate merge, for instance — a “to review” badge appears on it in the Agents list.
A scored health report of your portal. Reads contacts, companies, deals, owners and properties.
Finds duplicate contacts and companies and merges them in HubSpot, following the merge rules you set per property.
Fills in emails, mobile numbers, LinkedIn URLs and job details on your contact records.
Fills in LinkedIn page, company details and French legal data (SIREN, SIRET, APE code) on company records.
Spots contacts who changed jobs, updates their record and links them to their new company.
Agents only write to the records and properties you target. Data sources and enrichment providers are included in your Jipup plan — no separate subscription needed.
Jipup only requests what its agents and the audit use. Optional permissions can be declined on the consent screen: the related feature is then switched off, and everything else keeps working.

Open Settings → Connections → HubSpot connection and click Disconnect. The access tokens are deleted immediately and your agents can no longer reach HubSpot.
In your portal, go to Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps, find Jipup and choose Uninstall. This revokes Jipup's access without going through us.
Data already written to HubSpot stays on your records. To have everything we hold about your workspace deleted, email hello@jipup.com.
The connection was cancelled or refused on the HubSpot side. Check that your HubSpot user is allowed to install apps on the portal (ask a Super Admin otherwise), then click Connect HubSpot again.
Only the Owner or an Admin of a Jipup workspace can connect the CRM. Other members see “Ask an administrator to connect this workspace's CRM.”
Writing SIREN, SIRET and APE codes needs the two optional crm.schemas.companies permissions, so Jipup can create those properties. Reconnect HubSpot and accept them; nothing else is affected.
That section depends on an optional permission (deals, owners or properties) that was declined. Reconnect and accept it to include that section in the next audit.
Agents only run on the records you target, with the skills you switch on. Every write is logged in History with its before and after value, and you can pause an agent or disconnect at any time.
